How to Change Java Versions on Your Minecraft Server
Changing Java versions on your Minecraft server is very straightforward. This guide covers how to change your Java version through your Startup tab.
Steps
- Log in to your DazcoHost game panel.
- Select the server you want to work on.
- Make sure your server is Offline.
- Head over to your Startup tab.
- Find the "DOCKER IMAGE" box.
- Click the dropdown menu and choose the version you want.
- Head over to your Console and start your server.
Important Information
⚠️ Warning:
Make sure you have the correct Java version required for the game version your server is on,
otherwise it won't start.
Here's a quick reference for which versions of Minecraft use which Java versions:
